Watch Later Randomiser privacy policy

Effective 28 October 2026. This is a personal tool operated by its owner, not a public account-management service.

Data and purpose

The tool stores video identifiers, titles, channel information, topic assignments, playlist identifiers, operation results and Google authorisation credentials. Its owner supplies the Watch Later catalogue from a signed-in browser. The official YouTube API is used to identify the authorised channel and manage and verify that owner's private topic playlists. No video media is downloaded.

Storage and sharing

The catalogue and credentials are held on the owner's computer and privately on the owner's server. They are not published on this website, sold, used for advertising or shared with other users. Google receives the requests needed to operate YouTube. The server's infrastructure provider hosts the private files.

Control and retention

The owner can stop the scheduled job, delete its stored catalogue and credentials, or revoke Google access at Google Account connections. Revoking access prevents further authorised operations but does not itself delete stored files or existing YouTube playlists. Records are retained for the archive and verification until the owner deletes them.

The tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
